duplex 605a problem

I've just received a couple of duplex 605a speakers I won on Ebay. They're in very good conditions but the're a problem on the HF coils. One measures 6.2 Ohms and the other one 8.7 Ohms. Test were done with coils taken out of the speaker. They're identical with no appearent damage.
How can this be possible? How much should the it measure?

There should be a five digit number printed on the mounting ring which will tell you what impedance the diaphragm was originally designed as. Sounds like one of yours may be an 8 ohm variety. What part # yours have on them?

My 605A,s measure 8. some thing ohms.
The HF assm that measures 6.5 may have shorted turns in the HF coil.
These are made with anodized alum ribbon
wire edge wound, and it would be hard to see a short . I suggest listening to them
side by side ( w / wo cab ) and then switch the
assms .If the 6 ohm assm is poor at 2 k Hz
and above ... replace it.

Thanks to everybody.
The only number I can read on HF diaphragms is 391206. That's the same on each one. On the support ring there's printed L1 near the positive contact.
Where is it possible to buy a new coil and how much should it cost?

391206 is the manufacturer's ID and date code - sixth week of 1962 I believe in this case - so it's appears the diaphragms are original. You can buy replacements at Great Plains Audio. Check their website for all info you will need.
